Catholic Charities was established in 1919 to assist the poor and vulnerable in our community. Since that time our consistent witness to the gospel values of mercy and justice especially Matthew 25: 35, 40

  • Helping Catholic Charities with the gift of your time is rewarding and simple to begin.

  • The first step is determining which department with whom you wish to serve.

  • When you have made your choice, you may call our main number — 619 323-2841 — and ask for the department director or leave a message. Be sure to include your preferences and contact information.

  • For your convenience you may prefer to email your interest with department choice and contact information to Volunteer Inquiry and your request will be forwarded to the appropriate director.
