Catholic Charities has been providing food, shelter, clothing, and basic living necessities to homeless men since 1985. The services we provide give men the hope it takes to improve their lives, restore or retain their personal dignity, and be welcomed back into society—all within the safety of a sound living environment.
The Homeless Men's Services program is uniquely designed to provide immediate assistance and long term stability. This is accomplished at our two shelters in Carlsbad and Calexico. By promoting sober living emotional support, and the guidance needed to secure a job or rent an apartment, we seek to not only uphold the individual, but to empower him as well.
