Volunteers
- Volunteers needed to actively assist with food distribution.
- Volunteers also stock shelves and sort donations.
- Volunteers can also choose to assist with clerical work, including filing, as well as with assisting clients in completing food menus and other paperwork.
- Some direct client contact and light lifting involved.
- Current shifts available are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

The Food Resource Center would like to thank Starbucks for holding a food drive in February which helped to feed over 1,000 San Diegans. Special thanks goes to "Jane the Flying Hawaiian." - We often receive requests for:
- Donations
- Peanut butter
- Canned fruit
- Dry/hot cereals
- Baby Wipes
- Canned vegetables
- All of the items we distribute are given out in paper and plastic grocery bags... so any contribution of either of those items would be greatly appreciated as well!
- If you would like to make a donation, please drop off items at 349 Cedar Street, in downtown San Diego, or call us at 619 231-2828 x102 to arrange pick-up. Thank you!
