Beginning today our efforts will now turn to helping victims reestablish their lives. As always, donations received for fire victims will be used to help victims with rent, purchasing tools, food, clothing, furniturewhatever is needed. We will work closely with our Pastors whose parishioners have lost their homes especially in Rancho Bernardo, Fallbrook, and Ramona. Our second target population will be farm workers especially those living in Pala and Fallbrook.

Catholic Charities is organizing its efforts in response to the fires in San Diego County as follows:
Our primary concern is the safety of our staff. We're asking managers to keep in close contact with those staff that may be affected by the fires, and our efforts are first to get help to those staff members.
Secondly, the Agency is gathering our resourcesstaff, food, clothing, counseling, volunteersto provide help to the community as needed; for example, providing support to those evacuees at Qualcomm Stadium.
We are coordinating the delivery of prepared, hot meals to Qualcomm Stadium this evening and each evening as log as necessary.
