Representing two departments and three programs of Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego, the mission of St. Francis Center is to work toward mercy and justice, to enhance the quality of life of every client and to advocate for a just society.
St. Francis Center has been providing assistance to extremely low-income working families and homeless persons in North San Diego County since 1978. Originally an outreach program of St. Francis Church, the Center merged with Catholic Charities in 1995. The Center includes Immigration Services, the Food Resource CenterVista, and the Thrift Store.
