Catholic Charities of San Diego depends on the generosity of others in order to operate. As our administrative and fund-raising costs are approximately 10.7 per cent, 89 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to provide services to people in need.
While we understand you may not willing to part with your red '64 Mustang convertible just yet, we hope you will consider donating your car, truck, van, in fact any vehicle, to Catholic Charities when the time is right.
More poor and disadvantaged could be helped if only a handful of the thousands of vehicles traded-in each week in San Diego County were donated to Catholic Charities. You would also be helping yourself to an charitable deduction of the fair market value of your vehicle on your Federal Income Tax.
